What I do recommend is that you focus on a geographical area with your keyword marketing. Nobody is going to Google for "Bubba". Focus on a target niche audience of hunting (deer hunting, hog hunting, coyote hunting), then offer content (blog posts, how-tos, etc), and lastly offer advertising. Understand your target audience- are you a hunter? If so, what do you think would be a cool site?
