So instead of saving the file on the server, I can process it while it's being 'downloaded', but not saved to disk. Your question makes no sense unless you give us an example of what you are wanting to do, it doesn't even seem so viable. Why would you want to do this? To be able to process it, it HAS to be written to your server, temp or not. jeremywilms Posted January 27, 2010 Author Share Posted January 27, 2010 oni-kun, I want to be able to broadcast a .avi file through a fms server. .avi files do not need to be complete in order to begin watching them. If I can catch the data being sent to the webserver, instead of saving it into a file, I can feed it into the fms, and have it broadcast to clients. It wouldn't take long, but is it for sure that this isn't possible to do in php?
