BEELINER
OK, I know this is not the place for questions about PHP and mySQL questions. I will need to use them, but the goal is to see if I can open up preferably VisualLisp objects from AutoCAD, but VBA will also work. The reason behind the question is simply this: I want an online parts database that tracks projects, materials, price, etc... but I have no clue on how to even aproach this. Again I'm not asking for database help but I need to see if ActiveX can be used in my efforts to access programs from one side (PHP to ACAD) or the other (ACAD to PHP) and be able to pass variable values to a variable in a different language to allow the two programming languages to interact. Hopefully this discussion would be helpful to many other programs such as Excel, or Word.
phpdance
Unless you find a COM object that provides some ACAD communication (btw, my respects on Autodesk, I 'm a long time fan ), it might take huge amounts of work.
