dsdsdsdsd
hello; I am trying to call a javascript function ( google analytics functions ) from a server-side php ... NOT a browser-side php; the reason is that I have a shockwave movie running in a browser ( embedded in html ); I need the shockwave movie to communicate with google analytics javascript functions, but in IE browser shockwave cannot communicate with javascript, so I will instead have shockwave send a message to a server-side php, which, if possible, will relay the message to javascript; is this possible? thanks, Shannon Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/190661-how-to-call-js-function-from-server-side-php/ Share on other sites
taquitosensei
I don't think so at least not without refreshing. php generates the clientside. html + javascript in this case. If shockwave were able to send information to serverside php then you'd have to generate new html + javascript with the updated information.
