I can't find php.ini on xampp/apache?

Hello guys

 

although i successfully run XAMPP on my computer.

 

But the problem is i can't find php.ini on c:\xampp\apache\bin

 

There is php.ini but that is under c:\xampp\apache\php

 

Is this the new settings of XAMPP?

Did they really remove php.ini under \apache\bin ?

 

Any one would like to give shed to this please.

Make a phpinfo script, it will tell you where your ini file is located.

and check for this one

 

Loaded Configuration File  C:\xampp\php\php.ini

this is the location from which the configuration file is getting loaded..

There are two ways to know where is your php.ini

 

1. write the following code and put it in test.php and save it inside htdocs folder in xampp and hit the url of the http://localhost/test.php

phpinfo();

 

?>

 

try to find out "Loaded Configuration File" in the webpage u will get that is the path of your php.ini

 

2. go directly to the xampp/php folder you will get the configuration settings file name as php(.ini)

 

that's  it.
