techker Posted April 6, 2010 Share Posted April 6, 2010 hey guys is it possible to make a script that you can send an email to and it will insert the email details?or trigger ? like im doing a portal for managing ticket numbers.when im on the road i would like to send and email and it can insert in the database that that job is done.. If you want to simply email your server, and have PHP take over and do any logic you will need to do some server side configuration. What mail server software are you running? For what it's worth, if you don't have access to these details what you're asking is pretty much impossible However, you could easily make yourself a web form that you can access and input your data there!
