mrMarcus Posted April 21, 2010 Share Posted April 21, 2010 <?php $compNames = array(); while($rw = mysql_fetch_assoc($rs)){ $compNames[$rw['subCompId']] = comp($rw['subCompId'],'compName'); } $compNames = array_map('strtolower', $compNames); //convert values to lowercase for proper sorting; sort($compNames); foreach($compNames as $name => $idComp){ echo $name.'-'.$idComp.'<br>'; } ?> EDIT: added code tags; Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/199214-sorting-an-array/#findComment-1045559 Share on other sites More sharing options...
