INFORMATION_SCHEMA in MySQL - 5.0.83

Because I moved to a different server and in my previous I had INFORMATION_SCHEMA and was wondering if in order to copy the database info I should also create the INFORMATION_SCHEMA tables that I hade on the previous server

No. You don't need that.

As stated above, information_schema contains read_only views that provide easy way to access information about database objects. You can't insert any data into it.

 

It is possible, that on your new server you simply have no access privileges to information_schema.
