dan_t
I know this is probably a "no" answer, but -- is there a way to take data from a form and append it to a page ( like entering it yourself to a web page) without having to store the data on a database? 947740
If I understand what you are saying...let's say you have an html page with one text box with the name 'address.' The form action is process.php. The code: $address = $_POST['address']; // Redirect to another page, appending value to url header("location: file.php?address={$address}"); exit(): Then in file.php you could do w/e you wanted with that // In file.php $address = $_GET['address']; // Do something However, I don't see why you would pass on values to another script when you could just process them in one script... dan_t
I'm horrible at explaining things, but I'll try. You have a person come onto your site. You want them to fill out a form so they can have their own page with the information they filled out, like in comments. Each person uses the same form, the form I thing has to go to the same file I guess? action="whatever". You can't get that information to their own page without information going into a database can you? There would be no way to store it, correct? 947740
You could store it in a text file...but that is much more difficult (imho) to process.
dan_t
I had heard the word "sticky" used and wasn't sure what it meant.
