Help me--Step by Step Installation process for Apache2.2 and PHP 5 on Windows XP

please help me.. in  installing apache 2.2 and php5 on windows xp... i am getting many problem with apache http server after adding php... i am not able to start apache...  please help me out by telling step by step process in installing apache 2.2 and php 5.

If you're jsut starting, you might find it easier to install one of WAMP packages available, like Wampserver: www.wampserver.com/en/

before i am using wamp server only... for its time to go for apache and php directly other than wamp server...

There are already many existing step-by-step guides on the subject. Do you really need one written especially for you? Its not rocket science.

i got many results...  by searching in the net..

 

but the problem is configuring php and apache..., i am following the steps what they told... but after modifying httd.conf i am not able to start apache.. it showing errors....

 

please any body body help me out..... thanks in advance....

What steps have you taken? And what errors are you getting?

wamp sets it all up for you, you don't have to edit anything in httpd.conf.
