tibberous
Windows got corrupted and won't boot so I need to get my database files off the drive. With mysql 4 this was as easy as grabbing the /data folder, but I was running MySQL Server 5.1.41 on XP32, which apparently doesn't have that folder. Any idea how I get my databases back? tibberous
The databases were in D:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.1\data http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/windows-installation-layout.html Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/202226-trying-to-recover-databases-from-a-non-bootable-hard-drive/#findComment-1060566 Share on other sites
siric
Do a search on the drive for the name of the database. I am running 5.1 and my databases are stored in a data directory under the MySQL directory.
