lvertel
hello i am using
in my code, however, in firefox and chrome, it shows no vertical space, while in IE8, it shows a LOT of vertical space under and above the
i have tried the padding, margin, to set to 0, but no success.. any workarounds ? this is how the problem looks : http://eventy.ch/event_view.php?event_id=1 it is the menu of the event on the RIgHT, i have 9
tags, and they look good on firefox and chrome, but try it with IE8 and you'll see the problem :-/ anyone ? haku
You've outputted a bunch of javascript before your doctype. If the doctype is not the very first thing on the page, before whitespace and everything, it doesn't get read by browsers. So browsers have no idea what language you are feeding them, and therefore have to make random guesses. IE just happens to guess differently than the others. ram4nd
hr is horizontal line. And correct to the XHTML standard would be
. Browsers can handle
as its HTML. But I don't think there is browser that handles
, there is no space as you can see.
