aeroswat
I want to check to ensure that the file being uploaded is a .sql file. What MIME type can i use for this? Also is there a better solution than setting the mime type? Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/203553-uploading-file-mime-types/ Share on other sites

aeroswat
Please see this discussion when someone asked the same question in 2006. (first hit from Google when doing a search for sql mime type). Ken i read that already >< I wasn't sure if this was correct: application/x-sql and also how reliable it is because of that entire thread. It will always be a .sql file because its the system that is dumping the backup that they will be using. I just wasn't sure if that mime type is correct and if its a good idea to go by mime type Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/203553-uploading-file-mime-types/#findComment-1066270 Share on other sites
