BizLab
I had a punk attempt to access the tiny-browser directory of a site of mine last night. If you are not familliar.. tiny browser is a Drupal extension for CMS page manipulations... GOOD THING the site doesn't run on Drupal huh lol Anyway, i wanted to know how i can go about finding the IP address of the person that tried to access this file? I use AWstats, but i don't think it will be too helpful for this. It just has a list of all ip's... I always hear people speaking of reading the server logs, but you can't read logs in raw form, so what gives? So i'm looking for a way to search for Visitor ip >> /page/they/tried/to/access.php Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/204432-awstats-or-other-method-to-locate-a-specific-visitor-ip-address/ Share on other sites
trq
but you can't read logs in raw form Says who? Of course there are also plenty of tools around for reading server logs (I think Awestats actually reads server logs) though, awk, sed & grep come to mind.
