random1
Hey All, I'm currently working on HTML email styling and have a question about it. Should CSS styled HTML emails have just the body HTML and "<style type="text/css">" code above it or should it contain the structuring tags of an HTML document (head, title, body etc) to be validate correctly? shane18
I would treat it like a normal HTML page and then let the e-mail program handle it the way it wants too...
haku
That's an easy way to end up with some really screwed up looking emails. Email clients don't deal with HTML and CSS the same way, or nearly as well as browsers do. Think IE 5.5. I'll post some links later when I get home that give some tips for HTML emails.
