hyster
can i have more than 1 $var (not sure of the term for this) for the "IF" statment to compare? works if($choice == "YES"){ if($choice == "YES,NO,MAYBE"){ or if($choice == "YES or NO or MAYBE"){ basicly $choice could = sevarel bits of data but the output at the end = yes or no depending on what $choice is. ive seen a few examples of if statments nested but id rather avoid that if possable. Alex
if($choice == "YES" || $choice == "NO" || $choice == "MAYBE") { // ... } Or if you have a lot of possible values you might want to use an array and in_array like this: $arr = array('YES', 'NO', 'MAYBE'); if(in_array($choice, $arr)) { // .. } Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/205511-if-statments/#findComment-1075436 Share on other sites
