soma56
A quick question about secure your passwords with php and mysql. I've researched and figured out this much: $mypassword=$_POST['mypassword']; // encrypt password $encrypted_mypassword=md5($mypassword); and following up with my hash inside 'my' mysql database. But I was wondering if anyone knows how to apply the encryption to the password only in this instance: ? $retval = $session->login($_POST['user'], $_POST['pass'], isset($_POST['remember'])); (...where 'pass' is the field being brought in that needs to be encrypted) Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/207563-md5mypassword-secure-login-question/ Share on other sites
