freakers
From you guys experiences, what is the best practice when it comes to an admin location? what i have seen in the past is something like this: http://url/admin http://url/administration etc. sites like facebook, Google, Yahoo, In which location do they keep their ADMIN LINK. I don't want my admin to be 'browse-able' by some crawler app. Thanks in advance Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/208547-admin-location/ Share on other sites
trq
I doubt site like Facebook, Google or Yahoo have web based administration interfaces, but anyway.... I generally make admin areas a subdomain. eg; http://admin.domainname.com Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/208547-admin-location/#findComment-1089882 Share on other sites
freakers
Thank you for response. Now that I know, I will probably be implementing the same style. P.S You didn't complete your statement about Google admin location. You said it will not be a web interface so what possible solution would be adopted if you were in their shoes?
