neov
Hi guys, I have a script to install based on old namespaces which was supported by unofficial patch with separator - "::" and the usage is this: import Framework::Login::PasswordResset; istead of the official namespaces in 5.3 which are use Framework\Login\PasswordResset; Please help me out to locate this patch. trq
You would be much better of patching the script rather than php itself. Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/209556-namespaces-patch-for-old-php-versions/#findComment-1094029 Share on other sites
neov
The script is too big to be converted to work with the new PHP5.3 because too many differences occur. I found the patch http://news.xp-framework.net/article/204/2007/07/21/PHP6_Namespaces_patch_backported but after I try to install it does not work. Also found a distribution of PHP with installed patch which also does not work http://www.box.net/shared/kdlkr7yqsj#/shared/kdlkr7yqsj/1/8444597/82476703/1 Very discouraging, no success for now. I actually offer payment (PayPal) for someone who is willing to help to install it on my VPS. Thanks!
