Has any one heard about aol.com not delivering email to aol customers from php generated email?

I found this....  <a href=http://forums.hostmatters.com/showthread.php?t=13892>http://forums.hostmatters.com/showthread.php?t=13892</a>

While testing my mail script with several aol.com customers they all said they never received my sites email response ??? So I created an aol.com email address and confirmed.  I went through their post master troubleshooting session and added my site to my address book and still did not receive an email from my php script form.

Can any one confirm the validity of [MAIL] AOL and mail via scripts and is there a work around?

I am not sure.. I hate AOLhell..lol.. It may have something to do with your hosts Smart Host.

It may also have something to do with your headers.

Also, if you are send just html mail, I think, aol will not accept it. You need to have a alterative text only section  withing the head of the message.

Like this.
<html>
<head><title>Some title</title>
<!--
Your message here in plain text-->
</head>
<body width="600">
  <tr>
    <td>Your html message</td>
  </tr>
</body>
</html>
Good Luck,
Tom
