I'm trying to put a variable in a header("Location: /?p=$url");

Is this even possible?

You can use a variable in header(), however the example wouldn't be a valid url as it's written.

I did try it and it sent me to /?p=$url instead of what the variable equals.

Then you're probably using single quotes instead of what you posted.

Something about it didn't make sense in my mind, but I just tested it and it works; I was wrong. (Stupid mind)
