adam84
Howdy, My site requires javascript (ajax) and cookies. I am just not sure exactly where I should put this so that user knows. Should it go on my homepage, or where they sign up. I don't really care where it goes, i really just wanted to know if there was a standard place for a site to post that information. thanks
Adam
It's generally considered bad practise for a web site to depend upon JavaScript and/or cookies in order to function, so I doubt there's a "standard" place to put such a message. Why not put this effort into getting it working without though? Why does it actually need them in the first place?
adam84
Well, the cookies are not that big of a deal (just stores the username), but since the site using ajax quite frequently, the javascript is kind of important.
Alex
You should always provide an alternative for users who might not have JavaScript support, even though there are very few these days.

Adam
You should always provide an alternative for users who might not have JavaScript support, even though there are very few these days. In addition to that, if JavaScript is required to navigate around then search engines will be unable to crawl your site.
