PHP/SQL help.. excluding results?

Lets say I have an array of different values... for example,

 

$alreadyViewed = array("hi.jpg","cow.jpg","dog.png");

 

Lets say my database contains:

 

animals.jpg
cat.jpg
cow.jpg
hi.jpg
dog.png

 

How do you I tell MySQL to only fetch the remaining entries? And ignore everything in the $alreadyViewed array?
