Plxply
Hello, I've been searching through the MyBB code to hopefully learn the methods which are currently in use to secure the software as well as implement the various features. On the index.php page near the top I've noticed this on line 28: // Load global language phrases $lang->load("index"); I've also seen similar with variables, I'm wondering what does it do (in context of PHP not MyBB) and what kind of situation would you use it? BlueSkyIS
that code is specific to the system, not to PHP $lang is apparently an object created before that line of code, and load() is a function of that object. if you want more details, i would search all code for 'function load' to find the source code and/or follow the code back up-stream to learn where $lang is created, and from what class.
