I am designing a web using divs. Fixed Header, footer, sidebar and content. All 3 header, footer and sidebar are designed so they keep their position in all resolutions and my sidebar and content to always ajust to the monitor's height (100%). I tried it in many resolutions and monitor sizes i.e. 14.1", 19", 22" 24" and 26". All WIDE SCREENs by accident and were working just fine. Then I said to try it under a 17" monitor NOT WIDE SCREEN... And my sidebar moved away from it's position (left) and took a margin-left equal with the sidesbar's width. (just to mention I was testing all in internet explorer 8.) Anyone knows why the non wide screen monitor behaves like that? All the wide screen monitors that I was testing were using ie8 and ALL the normal monitors were using ie7! God I spend too much time on this. Thank you...!
