Pyro4816
Hi, i hope this is in the right place, but i needed some help. I am building a PHP based Forum framework. It is quite rough and not complete, but it is in the testing stage for the code i have created. I was looking for suggestions and help with testing. I try to test and fix the problems myself, but there is quite a bit that i don't think of, i was looking to see if anyone would help me with testing it, someone to provide outside knowledge and thoughts, or provide me info on a place i could go to find that sort of help. Thanks in advance.
trq
In all seriousness, people aren't really going to test your code unless they are interested in using it. Have you got it hosted in a public location? Places like http://github.com are awesome for open source projects because it easy for others to join in and help, they don't call it 'social coding' for nothing. Still though, the open source movement is actually a pretty competitive place, if your code is average then there is better out there and no one will use it, if it's not an original idea no one will use it. It's pretty difficult to get projects off the ground. Bottom line is, no one will test code unless they have interest in using it. You need to find people who are interested in actually using your code, where you start, I'm not sure. Like I said, it's a competitive market but I would start with at least making it accessible (if you haven't done so already).
