Arty Ziff
Greetings... Is there a way to set a cookie that is visible to more than one browser? For example, a visitor surfs in with Chrome and the page script sets a cookie, is there a way to set it for Chrome *and* FF *and* IE? I assume the answer is no... Coolkat
Strange work around: Associate the person's IP address with the information you want to store, This can be placed in a database. This will work if the person is viewing your site on IE, then switches to FF. However there is no guarantee of how long the information will last (when/if the IP will change, for various reasons). but basically, as stated above: No. Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/223832-setting-cookies-for-multiple-browsers/#findComment-1161696 Share on other sites
