I have a PHPBB2 forum which has being modified and has lots of members/posts. I want a CMS but don't want to alter my forum, is it possible to some how integrate my forum into a CMS without starting again and which CMS would you reccomend?

Give Mambo a try.You can embed the phpBB via Mambo's "wrapper" (an IFrame,in simple terms).

Make a backup of whichever Mambo template you opt for.Edit any side colums out of the template index.php if you find your phpBB is squashed or has a left-right scroll.

Lemme know if you want me to go on :)

Joomla! has a phpbb2 bridge i believe.

It takes out the Joomla! auth and uses phpBB2 auth and registration instead.

google this  Joomla! phpBB2 integration, or Joomla! phpBB2 bridge

Good Luck!
