Echo p class and css problem

Hi im having trouble getting the below code to listen to my css margin settings.

Just to clear up the server side of things, can anybody tell me wether or not im using the correct syntax in the code below?

	echo("<p class=\"passed\">Thankyou for submiting your details, you will be added to our directory shortly</p>");
}}

The echo is fine, it doesn't require the () braces though (though they will also work).

the only thing that I notice is that you are using 2 closing } ....unless you have code above this else statement that requires it
