Linking to another page on the server but not the same website

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I run 6 websites on my home server (none are very big) and I have the same privacy policy for all of them.

My current code is

<?PHP require("C:/default/pages/policy.php"); ?>

but this is for microsoft IIS and I don't know how to do it under apache.

The page of policy.php is not part of a web site but simply a file in the linux directory of website/default/pages

No It's not windows V Linux.

The code is what I used in IIS and it doesn't work with Apache, so all I wish to know is the equivalent in Apache.

I have tried -

<?PHP require("default/pages/links.php"); ?>

<?PHP require("../default/pages/links.php"); ?>

My problem is that 'default' is not part of any of my websites.
