Beginner - Form won't submit in IE9

Hi

I am a PHP beginner and using Jack's Formmail Script. It all works fine in Chrome and Firefox but won't do anything in IE9 when clicking on the Submit button.

What do I need to be looking for? Any clues or tips for IE9?

Any help appreciated

but sounds like a div class error beacuse ie9 is just as well swung as chrome.

Sorry, my bad, skipped right past it ( i blame my tiny iphone screen). try changing the button to an input type:

from:

to

Thanks for that. The button now works like a treat in IE9

Only problem is it's not sending through to my email when it submits. Any ideas?

Sorry, i am not sure which bit you need, so here is all of the code i have in my form.php and everywhere it says test.com i change that to my domain name ie domain name, referrer, and email.

ok. that is a lot of code to go through. Easiest thing to do is to turn on your error handling and see what error it throws. Place this just below the opening php tag in your form.php:


ini_set('display_errors',1);
error_reporting(E_ALL|E_STRICT);

this will display any errors thrown by the system. resubmit your form and see if any errors are shown

Hmmm that gives lots of errors. I downloaded this code and thought it would work fine. Where can i download a better one from?

All i want is to be able to submit a simple form and have a redirect to a confirmation page.
