Javil Posted June 25, 2011 Share Posted June 25, 2011 Hi, i have alot of trouble getting wordpress going. - I uploaded wordpress to my hosting server - I startup wp-admin/install.php and fill in my account settings. Then i get this error: We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the wpress database. Phymyadmin is really troubling me, if i look up a tutorial te use phpmyadmin then it always say to create a new database. But in my case it say : Create new database: Documentation No Privileges Anyone any idea? gristoi Posted June 26, 2011 Share Posted June 26, 2011 where are you hosting your installation.? Sounds like your hosting has not given you the correct database privliges.
