But when i moved to live server and tried to create a new category its showing a blank page or 500 error. Same thing happens in the front end. When a product is being added to cart. If I had to pluck a guess out of the air, I'd say you have RedirectRules in your .htaccess file, and mod_rewrite either disabled, or Apache configured to not allow overrides!
