My programming experience at the moment is only in php and js, however I really want to venture in the world of real programming and kind of get the impression that apps for smartphones is a good starting point (and interesting to me at the same time). Clicking around would i be correct that apps are written in Java?? As andriod uses Java it'll probably be a good idea getting familiar with Java.
