Minor Javascript / Superfish issue. A momentary blur in IE even on official site

Recommended Posts

I'm hoping somebody can answer this, as well as me being able to explain it.

I'm implementing the superfish menu, I have everything but one thing ironed out, and unfortunately there is no good way to explain the issue. But you can reproduce it on the official site in their examples.

I've tested it with IE 8 and 9.

When you click on a menu with sub-menu items IE for a split second loads the text blurry, then it refocuses it and then it looks fine. However, as you can imagine this is very annoying because it happens every time you change menus and on every sub-menu.

Take a look at official site: Example #5 http://users.tpg.com.au/j_birch/plugins/superfish/#sample5 watch carefully as the text loads in IE.

I've updated my jquery, and anything else I could think of and still have no clue. I'm not sure if the dude who wrote it even noticed or felt it was so minor no biggy, or if there is a bug with IE which wouldn't surprise me.

Thoughts comments and help very much appreciated.

Thanks!

Author suggestion is to ask on the Jqeury forums. Which after a search there nobody answers questions at least related to this plugin.

I tried google and even searched these forums, the plugin seems like its popular but my problem is I don't know how to explain the problem in a way that a search engine knows what I'm looking for. I've even seen example sites that use this plugin and have the same issue, while others don't so I know somebody has figured a way to fix it.
