iStriide
I've tried installing these onto 4 different computers and they never work. 2 computers = Windows Vista and other 2 = Windows 7. None of the youtube videos that I followed worked. iStriide
I just download the installer and let it do the work, then I open up the control panel and click start, but sometimes its only apache that starts or mysql that starts. ZulfadlyAshBurn
I setup my server using the original apache installer. you may want to use XAMPP 1.7.4 Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/244769-nothing-will-work-wamp-and-xampp-doesnt-work/#findComment-1257248 Share on other sites

ZulfadlyAshBurn
IIS7 is not part or XAMMP?! IIS7 = Internet Information Service 7. They are both different software which act as a web server. I think both the softwares are conflicting each other. iStriide
For some reason it shows IIS7 when I go to localhost, but I went to go uninstall it, but it wasn't in the programs list. Why does everything have to be so retardedly hard to setup.
