what 's wrong with the following code ? I declared the variables in the lines above this code.

 


$connetion = mysql_connect($host $username $password)
or die("connection could not be established"); 

 

 

That is a syntax error ...

 

It should be:

$connetion = mysql_connect($host,$username,$password)
or die("connection could not be established"); 

 

Other than that we need more information about the error you are getting.

 

@dougjohnson - you are missing a $ in front of password.

I already changed that, it 's still giving me the same error.
