laanes
Hello, Does anyone spot an error in the following SQL: "SELECT range_id, productId FROM range_idx WHERE productId = 4879 LIMIT 1" I get: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '= '4879'' at line 1 Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/249699-sql-syntax/ Share on other sites
trq
Can we see the actual code that builds this query? Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/249699-sql-syntax/#findComment-1281745 Share on other sites
laanes
Can we see the actual code that builds this query? Thank you for your answer. The query was used twice inside of a loop, i removed the single quotes around the id value in the first query but they were still present in the second one, hence the error message - "syntax to use near '= '4879'' at line 1". I would now close this topic but can not find a way to do it. Kind regards, laanes Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/249699-sql-syntax/#findComment-1281747 Share on other sites
