clankill3r Posted October 29, 2011 Share Posted October 29, 2011 Now i get my data like this: Array ( [0] => Array ( [hostname] => 46.17.6.186 ) [1] => Array ( [hostname] => 46.17.6.186 ) [2] => Array ( [hostname] => doekewartena.nl ) [3] => Array ( [hostname] => doekewartena.nl ) [4] => Array ( [hostname] => doekewartena.nl ) I got it with this: function getHostnames() { $query = "SELECT hostname FROM historer_sites WHERE hostname <> '' ORDER BY hostname"; $result = mysql_query($query) or die ("Query failed: " . mysql_error()); $data = array(); while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result, MYSQL_ASSOC)) { $data[] = $row; } return $data; } I only don't want a 2d array. I want it like this: [0] => 46.17.6.186 [1] => doekewartena.nl [2] => doekewartena.nl [3] => doekewartena.nl [4] => doekewartena.nl Only i don't get how i can do that and almost every example shows SELECT * which isn't really helping.
