jasonc
I have got a shopping cart site that uses the following method for its products pages.. www.site.com?item=123 www.site.com?item=773 and so on Google search engine currently has around 99% of the items listed but Yahoo and MSN and others only seem to have the main pages line ../contactus.html and /homepage.html Is Google the only search engine that supports URL's that use the ?item=123 method or is there something else I have missed ? floridaflatlander
Is Google the only search engine that supports URL's that use the ?item=123 method or is there something else I have missed ? The others do too I believe, I know bing does. How long have those pages been up, google is the quickist I think. When I did a lot of 301 redirects google had changed to the new pages way faster than the other search engines

tomfmason
Google has ~200 indexed pages for my personal site but yahoo only has 23. It has been up and running in it's current state for nearly 5 years.
Pikachu2000
Google has an extra SCSI RAID 5 array, so they can index more pages than Yahoo
