QuickOldCar
you could just visit http://localhost/newfolder/ it should read any index.html or index.php file you place within that folder the "but how do I tell my database to use files from a folder in htdocs" is a bit vague htdocs is your local filename which is the same location as http://localhost aka:the root of your site you could also include a script http://php.net/manual/en/function.include.php Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/252326-how-to-change-where-i-save-my-scripts/#findComment-1293554 Share on other sites
