Conditional Display Issue

Hello, this is my first PHP project, and I am having issues getting it to correctly display an error ONLY if the input is an error

It displays the error upon first load of the page w/o pressing submit. How would I use

isset($_POST['submit'])

to fix it?

Wrap all your current code within:

 

if (isset($_POST['submit'])) {

// your code here

}

 

You should always do this when dealing with $_POST & $_GET arrays anyway.

When I tried that, i was missing the {} lol
