alphabet help

im making a system where people can search by letter of my forum users here is my code:

 

 

foreach(range('A','Z') as $i) $l.= $i;

 

now i am echoing out $l  wherever i want

 

How do I make it so I i can add a hyperlink or a URL for each character? (inside the foreach) so I don't have to manually do it
