problem in datatype

Hi..

 

I input numbers in textboxes.

When I did not save number in my textbox and  i click save it save as 0.00  I used double data type.

 

I wnat to happen is if I did not input number or data in my textbox no datra will save in my database.

When you attempt to insert an empty string into a DOUBLE field, you will get zeros. That's how it works. If you want a NULL value, set the field to allow NULL values, AND: insert an explicit NULL value, OR don't even list the field in the insert query, OR make sure the default value for the field is NULL and use the MySQL DEFAULT keyword.
