popup window doesnt work

I have one question here... I want to pop up alert box asking "Do you want to add new stuff?" But following code is not working. It is directly going to AddStuff.php without giving alert box. I dont know, why?

You can't mix JavaScript and PHP like that (even if it was syntactically correct). PHP is processed on the server and the resulting mark-up (including the JS) is handed to the browser to parse. The JavaScript should be something like:

 

<script type="text/javascript">
    var conf = confirm('Do you want to add new stuff?')
    if (conf) {
        window.location = '...';
    }
</script>

 

Although where are you putting this code?
