max_w1
Hello, A client of mine requires me to develop an application like CRM where he can manage his company records. he wants me to make it in a way that it will be easier for him to install new modules to the app. I think it is better to use the joomla backend because it has all the UI and great Pattern, it would reduce 50% of my work. i need to know how to use the administrator panel independently and what are the important files i need to keep. Any Help is much appreciated. Regards Max Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/260216-using-joomla-backend-for-non-cms-project/ Share on other sites
TimeBomb
I just recently stopped working for a company that did just this. Built an entire seemingly enterprise level application as a component of Joomla. I am not going to go into details, but it was horrible. Like.. scary horrible. Please, please, please don't do this. Just don't. Use an actual PHP framework. Custom code it from scratch. Just use the right tools for the job. Don't use Joomla for a non-CMS project.
