melting_dog
Hi all, Pretty odd question. But was wondering: I am making an online catalogue and am wondering if I should bother putting in the product names in the URL for SEO sake. EG: http://www.site.com/product-page/?prodid=826&?EG400-Ergonomic-Chair VS http://www.site.com/product-page/?prodid=826 Any advice would be good! Adam
Having keywords in the URL does have a positive impact on SEO, but don't expect it to work miracles. It's perfectly possible to have a high ranking page without doing it, it's just one of the many minor changes you can make to improve your chances. First and foremost should be the quality of your code and content.
