amethyst42 Posted November 13, 2006 Share Posted November 13, 2006 I'm having trouble getting a project started and I'd like your suggestions. I am making a page with a map of mine claims. What I need is for some information to be displayed on mouseover or click (whichever is more likely to work consistently over browsers), and to be able to click on a link to go to the individual companies that own the claim.This is a complex map with several dozen claims on it. Should I seperate each one into a .gif or .png? I suspect that would be my first step. Would this be best done with HTML and javascript? Flash?I'm eager to hear suggestions on how to proceed, my brain is fogged and I just can't seem to think through this one. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Javascript would be required to display the info on mouse over. just remember js will have to be on to display teh info so perhaps make the link point to a page that will also display the info.
