quikkslvr
Im new to php and i'm trying to select a database. I bought a php e commerce script (If im posting in wrong area forgive me and please let me know) and I set up the site locally, installed xampp, put my root folder in the htdocs , and created a blank database . How do i view the index file of this ecommerce script? it has a buch of includes on the page, how do i go about learning to glue this script together? Do I have to start with the database? ps, i havent set up any bindings or record sets as i am just learning what they are! Thanks and happy new year! PS. Pikachu2000
If you're asking what it appears you're asking, http://localhost/ or possibly http://localhost:8080/ should be where you browse to the index file.
quikkslvr
Right, and my apologies for not being clear, due to my lack of understanding. When I do that , it just bring up xampp interface, where should I look or how do I start to populate the data on the index file of a given template such as this shopping script. Thanks! Pikachu2000
Without knowing anything about the specific application or your directory structure, there's no way to give you an accurate answer.
