dooper3
Um, i'm hoping you're dislexic - it's spelt HEIGHT, not HIGHT!!!!That should solve it good n proper. Solarpitch
I know, that was just a typo! . . more than once I can now see ;) That was an example . . I am actually spelling it "height = 14". So I havent a clue what the problem is! dooper3
Ah do you mean textboxes as in form textareas? In which case it is not width and height that set the size of these but "rows" and "cols" as in rows and columns, this is probably why it won't change. So it should look like:
<textarea name="textarea 1" cols="5" rows="5" class="form1"></textarea>
Or something like that. Solarpitch
No . . its a textbox. But the thing is, when I change the height and width parameters they take effect straight away in design view. The texbox changes fine. Its when I run it in the browser it just seems to display as the normal default textbox size . . so the code must be fine. I can set it like the below image fine. It just displays as the default image when it runs in the browser! :) Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/27262-hight-value-of-textbox-keeps-resetting/#findComment-125109 Share on other sites
fenway
It doesn't support the HTML height attribute -- you'll need to do this with CSS, but I don't see a CSS-type declaration. dooper3
Ah, if you do it through CSS and make a class for that textbox and choose a different font-size (looks like you want a smaller one) for within the textbox, then that will change the height of the textbox accordingly.
